Use It or Lose It

Happy Tuesday Wholetonians!

Can you believe we are already in February? It seems like only yesterday we were ringing in the new year. I wonder how many people have kept their new year resolutions?

Historically, health clubs have a huge spike in memberships on January 2nd, then amazingly, by February, health club attendance slows down dramatically! In fact, when I went to my gym today, there were not many in attendance, (so I didn’t have to wait to use my favorite machines!) at a usually busy hour. So, a resolution is only beneficial if one is resolute, right?

Success is a threefold formula:

Intention + Execution = Transformation!

When it comes to living a healthy life, discipline is key.

I know that exercising, eating clean, forgoing sugar and fast food is terribly inconvenient. But for me, it is a small sacrifice in order to have radiant, robust, health.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body,”

Jesus taught balance… body, soul, and spirit. Think of yourself as a triangle, the foundation is spirit, the other two sides are body, and soul. In order to live a balanced life, ALL three must be equally load-bearing. If you are weak in spirit, how will a healthy body benefit you? If you are strong in body and spirit, but your soul is weak, (thought, will, and emotions) will you prosper? And finally, if your soul is sound, and you are spiritually strong, but you are sick in body, will you accomplish your destiny?

In order for our bodies to function properly, they need healthy food, clean water, fresh air, and MOVEMENT! God designed our amazing “Earth suits” to be active. When we move, our joints produce lubrication, our muscles and tendons strengthen, our respiration improves, and most importantly, our heart pumps more blood to our brain.

The most important term in a cardio workout is BPM (Beats Per Minute). When we get to the place where we can get our heart rate to 120 beats per minute for 20 to 30 minutes, not only do we lose weight but we strengthen our hearts!

Now remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day. If you rarely exercise or have become sedentary…you can start by just getting up from your chair, walking up and down the stairs, or even walk around the block. The most important thing is…to just start MOVING! Many people see physically fit folks and desire to be like them. But they believe they are too old, too out of shape, and too tired to get fit themselves. This is a misconception. It is never too late! We are never too old, too out of shape or too tired to turn our lives around for good…this indeed is the definition of transformation.

If you have benefited from Wholetones, then you are no stranger to the power of specific frequencies. Above, I shared with you the benefits of BPM’s when exercising. Could the combination of specific frequencies and BPM’s revolutionize the way we exercise? I believe the answer to be…YES! Remember dear friend the famous saying “use it, or lose it.” When we stop moving, muscles atrophy, we lose our “shape,” and eventually we lose our confidence.

Today is the day to get moving, the sooner you do, the sooner you will see results…and those results will restore your confidence, and your health. I believe in you, until next time…
