Summertime Blues

Happy Tuesday muse-day Wholetonians,

How are you my friends??? Looks like some of us have been experiencing the "Summertime Blues." For me, traditionally, the summer is a time to unwind, reboot, and hopefully get out in the sunshine.

It is usually a fun season. But I have received several emails, Faebook posts, and prayer requests from some of you enduring illness, family tragedy, business instability, and general discouragement. So obviously, I take these reports to heart. It has indeed been a sobering summer thus far!

A couple of weeks ago, a very close friend of mine, James Brown (you know him as the “James” I mention in my book, “The Sound Of Healing”), passed away. His family asked me to conduct the funeral. Besides being your favorite “frequency freak” and creator of Wholetones, I am also an ordained minister and occasionally still conduct weddings and funerals. When you are face to face with 100 plus people who are grieving and hurting, it is paramount that you “speak life,” and bring hope in adverse situations.

Honestly, I found the occasion to be effortless, even exhilarating as I shared about my dear friend and brought only the words I felt that God would have me share. And those words indeed changed the atmosphere and the hearts of those in attendance. At the gravesite, I sang a song that I wrote (Jim’s favorite!) titled, “Butterfly.” As I finished the song, butterflies that were in a nearby tree, flew down and circled above some of the people in attendance!

When I finished the song, I poured a package of butterfly garden seeds on my friends casket, and packed up my guitar, and headed to my car to put it away. Much to my surprise, one of the butterflies flew right above my head all the way to my car, and then flew away…God was near.

And that is the takeaway of this weeks musing... whether you are dancing on the mountaintop or facedown in the valley…God Is Near!

Psalm 34:18
The LORD is near to the brokenhearted
And saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalm 73:28
But as for me, the nearness of God is my good;
I have made the Lord GOD my refuge,
That I may tell of all Your works.

It is easy when life becomes difficult to feel as though God is nowhere in sight. But in actuality…He has never moved. We are moved by the adverse circumstances, and thus feel alone in our sorrow. God is our strong house of refuge, and He is found to us as our helper… He is always there in times of trouble.

It is my desire to also be there for you, but I am only one man. And likewise, as a man, I too experience difficult seasons and great responsibility. So here is what I endeavor to do. You may have noticed that I have been ramping up my “Facebook Live” videos this month. I am doing this because I realized that sometimes a Tuesday email just isn’t enough. And what’s more, I am working to begin weekly podcasts where I interview “game-changers” that are truly making a difference in the world. As I have often said, I want your experience with me to be “personal.” And since it is physically an impossibility for me to meet with all of you in person, I can certainly keep in touch by using simple media.

But I need your help. Communication requires both parties to be present and engaged! I’m reaching out... will you reach in? I need you as much as you need me. It has been a slow, difficult season, and your support, love, prayers, and interaction, is vital.

My Facebook Live broadcasts will not be “scheduled,” as it was not possible to find a, “one size, fits all,” time for everyone to tune in. So, watch for posts on the Wholetones Facebook page from me alerting you when I go live! I will also keep you in the loop in future emails, regarding my podcast launch when I am up and running.

How can you help? Word of mouth... sharing with friends and family, will help me get the word out and spread the Wholetones message to people who need this life changing, frequency based music in their homes. Each one, reach one!

My dear Wholetonians, I have some AMAZING new "mind-blowing" Wholetones products in production, including the incredible new Wholetones for Pets speaker that we launched last week! The amazing stories of pet healing are already rolling in. If you have a pet, you MUST check this out here. And as always, you will have access to each new announcement before anyone else ever hears about them!!!

So, by helping me, you are literally changing the world, one person at a time! Together, we will beat the “Summertime Blues,” and turn this season around for good! I love you dearly…

Until next time…

Be Whole,

Michael S. Tyrrell
