A New Season

It’s Tuesday Wholetonians!

Chances are if you look out your window (unless you live in Florida :) ), the leaves on the trees have changed color, there’s a chill in the air, and it’s getting darker earlier. Fall has fallen, summer is over, and before you know it, you’ll be sitting around the dinner table with your family enjoying a delicious Thanksgiving turkey!

I know it’s not, but it seems like this year is flying by at light speed. Whether you’re overwhelmed or underwhelmed, time marches on without regard. Season’s change and we have the opportunity to change with them!

A Time for Everything Ecclesiastes 3: 1

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.

One essential component for successfully navigating through changing seasons is….never giving up! With each changing season comes new possibilities.

Dear friends, I do my best to convey all things concerning my mission of sharing Wholetones with the world. And to be honest, I, like many of you, have experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly during the seasonal changes of this journey. And that’s why I am so very thankful for your love, prayers and support as you have encouraged me more than you can imagine. So now it’s my turn to encourage you!

I awoke the other day with the sense that we were on the verge of a new season: a favorable shift... a brand new day. Of course I have no way to prove it, but I believe it nonetheless. Maybe you have had great expectations, hopes and dreams in the past that never materialized. Maybe this is a new season; a season of hope realized.

Just because you tried once and failed and tried again, planting once again and nothing grew. And then you planted again and lost everything. But holding on to hope, you try once again and you might just find you’re in season this time! If at once you don’t succeed, try, try again!

Galatians 6:9

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

I will be sharing many new developments regarding Wholetones in the weeks to come, but I felt compelled to focus on you this week. Sometimes an encouraging word at the proper time can make all of the difference. You have believed in me or you wouldn’t have received this email.

Now I want you to know that all of us at Wholetones believe in YOU. Many have been desensitized and felt helpless in the wake of a constant barrage of negative, polarizing news media. I endeavor to achieve the opposite effect: positive, life-giving, unifying news every Tuesday. If you know someone who is hurting, or needing encouragement, please give them this link so they can receive my Tuesday musings: wholetones.com/subscribe

Please feel free to drop me a line occasionally and let us know what we are doing right and how we may improve. I am blessed to call you Wholetonians. Until next time…

Be Whole,

Michael S. Tyrrell
