What Were You Thinking

November 28, 2017

Greetings Wholetonians!

This week’s musing came from a personal observation via a funny conversation I had with my amazing wife, Lillian. Maybe you aren't married to a visionary, but if you are, you will probably relate to my next sentence. Sometimes there is an incredible event happening inside my brain, but I forget to send out invitations!

Seriously, sometimes I have these astonishing thoughts that will eventually become realities, but I fail to realize that those around me didn’t get the memo. My wife just laughs when I walk into the kitchen and say, “Honey, could you find me that thing, I know how to make it work ten times more efficiently.” You see, in my brain, it all makes total sense because I have a blueprint and I know what to do—the problem is nobody else knows what I am talking about. In our home, a penny for my thoughts could be more than you bargained for!

Those of you who are already familiar with Wholetones realize that everything is frequency. But how many of you realize that even your thoughts are frequencies? How important are your thoughts? Your thoughts, once they become beliefs, are a powerful, creative force, capable of transforming your life. What we believe, we become.

If you believe you can change the world, the world will change. Now it is important to realize that if this works for good, it also works the other way around. If you believe negative things will happen to you, they most likely are already occurring! The Bible has a great list of things to think about that yield a wonderful outcome.

Whaaat were you thinkingFinally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things- Philippians 4:8.

So when someone asks you, “What were you thinking?” you’ll have something good to report. Remember, next time your brain throws a party, learn from my mistakes—send out invitations! Until next week …
