Happy Tuesday Muse Day!
I have been bragging on my Wholetonians all week. Actually, though, it’s not bragging when it’s a fact: I have the best customers in the world. Period. Thank you for your continuous support, prayers, and wonderful posts on Facebook!
This brings us to the musing of the week, “Speaking Life.”
You see, I have been a minister since 1985 and a musician, composer, and sound engineer for considerably longer! When Wholetones was released on October 24th, 2014, I also became a “business man” out of necessity. As I became familiar with online marketing and all that goes along with owning a business, I quickly realized something—I had to find a way to turn the cold, impersonal nature of a remote business into something intimate and interactive.
Since the core of who I am is a minister first, rule number one for me is to treat my customers the way I want to be treated. Starting with email. The last thing I wanted to do was to spam your inbox every day. Instead, I only send you emails twice a week. On Tuesday, I share my thoughts with you, while on Friday, I share products (including my own!) that really work and that I personally use and love.
Next up was the remote nature of online sales. When I order online, I often feel like I am just a confirmation number; so when you order from me, I want you to feel like family. I even randomly call some of you at home, which has been a blast! Even though Wholetones is available around the world, I still call as many Wholetonians as I can each week. I also do my best to personally answer as many emails and Facebook posts as humanly possible with my busy schedule.
The next step was to begin doing “Wholetones Live” events where I could get out and meet some of you, face to face. I will be doing at least two more of these events this year: one in Ft Myers, Florida, and another in Camarillo, California (dates coming soon). I also recently hosted a Facebook live event for a skincare company known as “Tru Energy.” It was a blessing to bring you into my home so you could meet my wife, Lillian (and our dog, Zivah!), via a live Facebook feed. Most importantly, though, I consider it an unspeakable honor to speak life and encourage you in this email every week.
Maybe you are wondering, “What does ‘speaking life’ mean?” The Bible tells us that the power of life and death is in the tongue. In other words, what you say either creates life or death. Our words, as well as our thoughts, are frequencies, and those frequencies produce positive vibrations or negative ones. You see, on a daily basis, we are pummeled with negative news, so much so that I no longer watch television newscasts. Now, obviously, I cannot stop those negative reports from being broadcasted. However, I CAN consistently broadcast good news to all who have ears to hear it!
I don’t know about you, but I tend to gravitate towards people who are positive and upbeat. Misery loves company, but optimism is like a waterfall that cleanses the soul.
Proverbs, 18:4- “The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook.”
My desire each week is that something I write would make your week a little brighter. I may be a “greenhorn” when it comes to business, but one thing I know is people. And all of us want the same thing … to be loved and appreciated. I pray that I do a good job helping you feel both. I couldn't do this without you. There is only one YOU, and I am glad you were born! If there is anything you think I could do to make your Wholetones experience more meaningful, please drop me a line. Thank you for trusting me to speak life to you and yours. Till next week,
Michael S. Tyrrell
