Howdy Wholetonians,

Great news, our numbers are growing! Because many of you have been so vocal about Wholetones, more and more people are subscribing to my weekly emails! If you have a friend who might enjoy my musings, here’s the link: wholetones.com/subscribe Thank you for helping me make a difference in the world; your prayers and support are most appreciated, as I am currently working on a couple of new creative projects that look quite promising! I will share more details when I can 🙂 Remember, everything is a frequency–even our thoughts– so it is of the utmost importance that we fill our minds with thoughts that produce positive results. With that in mind, let’s look at this week’s musing, “Food For Thought.”

Obviously, if we want to have a healthy body, we need to make sure that we eat clean, preferably organic, nutritious food. Processed, non-nutritive “fast foods” simply fill the body with useless, empty calories. In the same way, if we want to maintain a healthy mind, we need to fill it with positive, uplifting, and transformational thoughts. As a man, (or woman!) thinks, so he/she is! The truth is, thoughts become things. In other words, what we think about, we bring about. God, in His infinite wisdom, blessed us with minds that have the innate ability to conceive liberation or bondage.

So, you see, the term “food for thought” has much deeper ramifications than we previously realized. Have you ever considered putting your mind on a strict diet? Seriously, when we put on a few extra pounds and our clothes no longer fit properly, we wouldn’t think twice about going on a diet, or even a whole body cleanse. Why then, when our minds become full of negative, unhealthy thoughts, would we think twice about cleaning it out? The best way to “cleanse” the mind is to change what you are thinking about!

Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

All I can tell you is, when I take responsibility for the content of my thoughts, everything changes, almost immediately.

2 Corinthians 10:4, “Casting down the imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

There is no question that we are surrounded by abject negativity reported by the television media, social media, even in the workplace. Thus, it is up to us to make sure that we are creating a positive mental environment by carefully selecting what thoughts we keep in our minds. Yes, YOU must be very proactive when it comes to choosing yourfood for thought.

Romans 12:2, “Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

Friends, it doesn’t get better than…perfect, so let’s aim for that! Looking forward to hearing about your transformation after changing your “mental menu!”

Until next week …
